The Greater Cleveland Aquarium Installation Proposal

This is an in class proposal for an installation for The Greater Cleveland Aquarium. This proposal highlights one of the newest members of the aquarium, the giant pacific octopus. The goal is to teach visitors more about this amazing creature.

This goal can be accomplished with my installation of my wire sculpture “Octavious” the Giant Pacific Octopus. With multicolored wire to showcase this creature’s chromatophores and master of camouflage this installation is sure to dazzle. Face masks are attached to the arms of the sculpture to bring up the serious conversations of social distancing during the pandemic as well as the impact face masks have made on ocean pollution.
