Firefly Light Bulbs are light bulbs designed for nightlights and catered towards families and children. The packaging and branding uses whimsical serif type and an illustration of a glowing firefly for the logo. This illustration appeals to children as a fun character named “shine.” Fireflies are known to light up the night sky just as firefly light bulb light up your family’s hearts and homes.

I designed the Firefly Light Bulb logo, packaging, promotional, and apparel including kids camping and outdoor gear for adventures at home and in nature. These deliverables include gradient effects in the design to portray dusk, when fireflies comes out to play. The charming patterns remind parents of their own childhood, growing up with the soft and comforting glow of fireflies in the night sky.
